Bellingham Wallace joined an incredible afternoon at the North Harbour Club’s - Lexus of North Shore Charity Lunch on Thursday 19 September. Sir Wayne Smith and Ric Salizzo had the crowd in stitches, sharing hilarious stories from their rugby and media careers. From Sir Wayne’s recounting of Jonah Lomu’s legendary rise during the 1995 Rugby World Cup to Ric’s wild tale about sneaking an impersonator into a World Cup, it was a non-stop ride of laughter and unforgettable moments.
The duo reflected on the chaos that drives both rugby and TV, reminding us that success is all about serving the audience. With light-hearted banter and fond memories of rugby greats, they left everyone with a renewed appreciation for the sport and its legends.
Many thanks to Lexus of North Shore and to North Harbour Club’s members and their guests, who made this a lunch to remember.
